WHO WE ARE
Established in 1987 in Varayaal, Mananthavady (Wayanad, Kerala),
Parathottam Karshaka Vikasana Samithi (PKVS) is a registered
Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to holistic community
development and ecological stewardship.
Registered under Section XXI of the Indian Societies Registration
Act, 1860, PKVS has worked for decades to strengthen rural
communities while protecting and restoring the ecosystems on which
they depend.
For over three decades, PKVS has operated at the intersection of
modern agricultural innovation, social welfare, and environmental
conservation, transforming rural livelihoods across the region.
Our ethos centers on bridging traditional rural wisdom with
scientific advances to foster self-reliant, resilient, and
inclusive communities.
